Class Ring Orders

Attention Juniors!!!!! The class ring orders will be taken on Thursday, September 30th from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the MHS cafeteria. Any junior or senior who did not get an information packet and price sheet may pick them up in the office. A down payment is required at the time of the order. $60.00 for non-gold rings and $80.00 for 10K gold. Students, if your parents want to be involved in ordering your ring, don't forget about parents night on Thursday September 30th. Thank you.

Homecoming Shout-Outs

Do you want to give a shout out to your mom, dad, boyfriend, or girlfriend and have it show up on the BIG SCREEN at the Homecoming Game?! For adults and students its $5 for 45 seconds in 1 quarter and $2.50 for additional plays. You can play words or any digital design you make yourself! To sign up, go to Mr. Pruitt's room G214.

Homecoming Parade UPDATE

Attention Class of 2011!! You need to represent the class of 2011 in the Homecoming Parade on Thursday, September 23rd!! Please come by G212 to sign up!! As of today, you will now be riding in the float, not walking, so meet at Manor Downs at 5:45 on Thursday to prepare!! GOOOOO CLASS OF 2011!!

TAKS Review for Seniors

There are TAKS reviews for seniors every Wednesday and Thursday afterschool as well as October 9th from 8-12pm adn October 16th from 8-12pm. On Wednesday and Thursday meet in the ACE room. On October 9th and 16th in the MHS cafeteria.

TAKS re-testing UPDATE

If you still need to TAKS retest this is the LAST week to pick up your tutorial folders in G212(Ms. Dow's room) during the second half of lunch. Remember, logging tutorial hours is the way to attend the college trip on October 13th.

DIVAS(known before as VOICES) has a club meeting Monday 9/20 during Part B lunch in E120.

Homecoming MUMs

For the Floral Design Class: It's homecoming time! The floral design class is once again selling mums and garters! So show your Mustang pride and order yours today. Each mum or garter is custom made just for you with your special designs. Come Order yours during lunch in the Cafeteria!

Homecoming Activites

Attention MHS: The senior class: The senior class and cheerleaders will be hosting a homecoming dance after we B-E-A-T Elgin at our homecoming game on September 24th. The dance will run from 10 p.m. to 12 a.m. Tickets are $5 and will NOT be sold at the door. Please purchase tickets from Ms. Dow during lunch in G212!!

Homecoming Parade

Attention Seniors!!! There will be a homecoming parade on Thursday September 23rd! The senior class needs to represents! Make posters, t-shirts, and you WILL have candy to TOSS! You will be walking in the parade. If you want to walk, come to G212 to sign up to walk and we will see you on September 23 behing the school at 5:45!

Chess Club

Do you enjoy the challenge of the game of kings? Then we would like to present to you with the Chess Club. The club meets every Monday during A lunch in E104, which is Mr. Millikan's classroom. See you there!

Blood Drive

The Student Council is sponsoring the Fall Blood Drive on Monday September 27th in the PAC. The drive will run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The basic requirements are: You must be 17 or older, weigh at least 123 lbs., be in good general health, bring a photo ID, and know your social security number. If you are 17 and would like to donate, you will need to get a pemission slip signed. Slips are available in room C102. The sign up sheet will be available outside C102. Students who donate 4 times while in high school will earn an honor cord to wear at graduation. For any other questions see Ms. Duffield. Come in early to sign up. Remember....Its About Life.

Theatre Auditions

Would you like to be part of a great musical for the fall? Well, the auditions start on Wednesday September 15th and Thursday September 16th in the PAC from 4:30 to 6:30.
